Camozzi Pneumatics Ltd has expanded its range of pneumatics with the introduction of a new series of compact cylinders conforming to ISO 21287.
Series 32 is a complete range, including single acting, double acting, through rod, non-rotating, tandem and multi-position versions. Sizes from 32-63mm are initially available with further diameters due for release later in the year.
In addition to the many versions, the versatility of the range is highlighted further as both standard and non-standard strokes are available. Each Series 32 cylinder has polyurethane seals or optional Viton seals in addition to T-slots that allow easy mounting of position sensors.
The compact profile of each Series 32 cylinder reduces the weight and dimensions in compliance with ISO 21287. This compliance means that the mounting accessories of other standard cylinders (DIN/ ISO 6431 / VDMA 24562) can be used. A complete range of such accessories is readily available as they are used with Camozzi’s existing ISO/VDMA standard cylinders (Series 60 & 61).
In addition to conforming to the ISO 21287 standard, performance and reliability were key considerations throughout the development of this latest range.
As with any compact product range, Series 32 cylinders are ideal for use in applications where space is limited. Although they are suited to many general automation applications, specific target sectors include the automotive and food & packaging industries.
