The Egis controller from Penny & Giles Drives Technology is widely used
in electric mobility scooters, wheelchairs and floor cleaners, and these
duties demand a high level of environmental protection. The housing
seals, developed by DP Seals, are manufactured from a specially
formulated nitrile rubber offering 30° shore hardness and providing a
better alternative to conventional plastic and expanded foam. The
housings are rated at IP65 and IP67 and meet all relevant ISO, TUV safety
and EMC standards.
