Flushed with the success of its involvement with Stewart Grand Prix last
year, DP Seals is continuing to deliver hi-tech solutions to the Formula
One world by designing and manufacturing a new generation of seals for
the new Jaguar Racing Team.
Among the new developments are an improved fluoroelastomer seal for the
engine manifold system which comprises an ultra-thin stainless steel shim
with rubber bonded to both sides, plus a specially formulated silicone
seal that is capable of maintaining its performance and integrity at
temperatures up to 300°C.
