Dichtomatik can now supply Teflon encapsulated silicone or Viton O-rings
for applications exposed to chemical attack. The combination adds a low
coefficient of friction as well as chemical resistant properties to
silicone or Viton O-rings, while retaining their advantageous mechanical
properties and low compression set. The seals are available in BS sizes
014 to 475, and non-standard diameters can be produced with a cross
section of up to 20mm.
