The difficulty of fitting conventional lock/handle mechanisms to thick, insulated cabinet doors could now be a thing of the past, thanks to EMKA’s new polyamide 1091 series, which has been designed with these applications in mind. This will fit door panels from 10mm to 60mm thick, providing a large, comfortable handle and central through-bolt which ties the whole assembly together - including a heavy duty latch and inner handle if required. The latch features a simple espagnolette rod system for top and bottom closure on pentapost flanges with quarter-turn action. Handles are moulded from high impact polyamide and are available in black (ex-stock) or in yellow, red or blue in quantities to complement colour schemes.
