Ultra-thin back-lit display for handheld devices
New from Diamond Electronics, the MG1203 series liquid crystal display
panel provides both dot-matrix and character formats, and comes complete
with integral controller IC and back-light in an assembly measuring less
than 5mm thick. Diamond expects the LCD to interest designers of
handheld, battery powered devices and portable instrumentation of all
kinds. As well as the 128x32 dot graphics panel format, there is a 122x32
dot variant and character displays offering 16 characters by two rows and
in 20x4 formats.
