ABB and Rittal collaborate on multiple drives enclosures
Drives manufacturer, ABB and enclosure maker, Rittal have extended the
scope of an existing collaboration agreement to provide a pre-tested
standard solution for system integrators and panel builders working on
multi-drive installations. The combined ACS600 MultiDrive modules and
Rittal TS cabinets have undergone extensive testing for temperature
distribution, and essential components such as bus-bars and other
mechanical fixtures have been standardised in order to achieve total
compatibility between the two products.
Documentation describes how the drives are installed into the cabinets,
and this includes single line wiring diagrams, layered drawings,
ready-made parts lists, installation guides and manuals. All part numbers
and specifications are held on a CD-ROM produced by ABB, and customers
can use these single numbers when ordering cabinets directly from Rittal.
