3D Systems has introduced a new grade of its Accura SLA material that is
claimed to have significantly faster build speeds than competitive
systems. Formulated for all legacy SLA 250 systems, the Accura si 45HC SL
material has nylon 6.6 properties and parts made from it can be exposed
to temperatures of up to 100°C. In addition to temperature resistant
parts, the material is also suitable for the rapid prototyping of high
stiffness, thin-wall components, moisture resistant parts, investment
casting patterns and rigid, snap-fit assemblies.
